My Pet Carnivore Beaver products come from Michigan, Minnesota & Wisconsin animal trappers. (Hunted meat cannot be sold but trapped animals can be.) We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to provide such rare & iron-rich meat. This is obviously the "wildest" & most "free-range" product available anywhere. We gladly work with trappers who are using humane practices in plying their trade. Many carnivores prefer this animal over others. Rave reviews from many pleased furry customers prove this to be true! Beaver products are seasonal. Most of our supply is available during the winter & spring months. Some years, the beaver offerings are sparse because wolves make a meal of them. In traditional Chinese medicine, beaver is considered a cooling protein.
