Our human-grade lamb & mutton products come from farmers here in the USA. They are heavily scrutinized before selection. These animals are artisanally butchered & packaged by Schoenborn Family Farms for optimal nutritional quality. It's Mother Nature's pet food! Lamb is any sheep that is less than a year old. This meat is a paler pink than mutton. Considered milder in flavor, lamb is also more tender than mutton. Mutton is a lovely, marbled meat. The older the sheep or ram, the redder the meat. Mutton is stronger in flavor than lamb. *Remember, the fat contains a lot of the nutrients that benefit your pet's skin, coat & connective tissues.
